We believe that in order to make real organisational change, we must include governance. Boards need to be supported to work inclusively and model what we want to see in the wider organisation.

We understand how governance works
Being a board member is an important role. Board members volunteer their time to bring their expertise to support and advance your organisation. At the same time, traditional board practices can be contrary to inclusive practices and exclude some people from being able to participate.
Our work with boards is informed by research and collaborative work with organisations which work specifically on board development. In addition, our Director, Shonagh Reid, is Chair at Mishmash Productions and Vice Chair at Talawa. This means she is able to bring her expertise not only as a consultant, but also as a practicing board member to this aspect of our work.
Inclusive Governance
Our work with your board can include reviewing and creating governance documents through the lens of EDI, delivering training on EDI topics, delivering a complete review of governance practices and producing an action plan, and facilitating board away days.
