Director
With her extensive background in leadership and education and the arts, Shonagh Reid, director of Spotlight Inclusion, helps identify key areas for culture and inclusion transformation and helps to deliver measurable change.

mezze is the Diversity and Inclusion Associate at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and an Advisor for Bloomsbury Lit in Colour. mezze worked with Pearson and AQA exam boards to increase global majority representation in their GCSE and A Level Exam Specifications. mezze eade is also a creative engagement practitioner and has worked with the Donmar, National Theatre, The Old Vic, Theatre Royal Stratford East, UEL (University of East London) and Young Vic.

Consultant and facilitator
Adam (he/him) is a Lecturer and Researcher in Education at the University of Derby. He is also the co-founder of Pride & Progress: an organisation that supports schools to develop their LGBT+ inclusion. Adam has 15 years of teaching experience in secondary schools, holding a variety of leadership positions, most recently as the DEI lead. He also has a Doctorate in Education exploring how schools can become more inclusive spaces.

Jo Brassington (they/them) is an educator whose work focuses mostly on making the spaces we occupy more emotionally honest and inclusive. As a former primary school teacher, they co-authored their internationally published children's book: 'Bottled: A Picture Book To Help Children Share Their Feelings'. They also co-founded Pride & Progress, and co-authored the award-winning book 'Pride & Progress: Making Schools LGBT+ Inclusive Spaces'. Jo still teaches regularly, but now spends most of their time supporting schools, colleges, universities, charities, and businesses in creating more diverse, equitable and inclusive spaces. Jo specialises in LGBT+ inclusion and trans and non-binary awareness, and they have just started a PhD researching LGBT+ networks in education.
